Goodness is Everywhere

Yes, that’s right.  I said it.  In the current world where the news is all about wrongdoing, hate, and shameful situations, the insightful and growing of goodness may be a bit more difficult to see.  It takes a different approach to use our senses to see that opportunities of goodness are everywhere …that is if you are willing to see and feel it. 

To be clear, goodness doesn’t mean all rainbows and unicorns but a way of life that can thrive in good things and has the insight to find the good in challenging things. 

Most people have this handheld computer that we wonder how we lived without, but we did.  So… put it down, look out into the world and see – see with your heart, see with your eyes, see through the sounds of the world around you.  Goodness is everywhere.

And if you are using your handheld computer and browsing through the overwhelming amount of information, what are you choosing to connect to? If you find yourself drawn to the content that is related the wrongdoing, hate and shameful – how can you find the good in a challenging world?  Or will you decide to find your community of goodness and fill your handheld computer with different information, goodness, joy, love?

I know I have had challenging work and interpersonal situations and it was hard to find goodness.  I spend time only seeing the challenges and living in the fight or flight world; I needed it for my own survival.  I may have stayed in a place that would not serve me had I not decided it was not helpful to me or my growth.  It wasn’t always easy to see goodness in challenging situations but like any skill, it takes practice. 

Now I find myself not only seeing goodness in unexpected places, I see goodness even in challenging situations.  I have chosen a few communities that promotes the goodness, growth, positive energy, discusses realistic situations and supports seeking goodness in challenges situations. 

When I chose to look for goodness, my world changed, my ability to see and feel changed and my heart changed.  Soak up the goodness, in whatever form it comes in.  The opportunities await you.  ~ChaCha
