Company that Uplifts

Lately, life has been moving lighting fast. I’m not sure if it’s because of the unfolding of the sheltered life the last year plus? Or maybe it’s just me being on a fast moving and shifting project. In any case, though this lightning fast movement, feeling the energy is stronger than ever. In person or even virtually, I can feel the energy emitted by others – in their body language, facial expressions and even voice tone and inflections.

Have you ever thought about how you feel after these interactions? Have you ever felt when someone really energizes and uplifts you? Have you ever felt completely drained and tired? Sometimes in the haste of life, we ignore, suppress or pretend how we feel thinking it doesn’t really matter, but we each have a gut instinct. Maybe that gut instinct more than a feeling but is the energy connecting with us to lift us up or connecting to drain us.

A phrase that has gain momentum is people don’t quit bad companies, they quit bad bosses. Maybe, just maybe, they quit bad energy? Maybe seeking out good energy people, good energy bosses who empower and uplifts you is what they are seeking?

I firmly believe, without reservation, good energy people, whether leaders or co-workers, are what make good organizations. When you staff your teams with good energy, uplifting people, the entire team rises. When you staff your team with a heightened presence, you see people exceed expectations.
