Today begins a new journey
Today begins a new journey. Not only does this mark day one of this journey, it happens in the most unusual & off-personality manner. My general nature is to look for the right time, ensure my ducks are in a row, and many times align new beginnings with particular days such as the beginning of a month or on my birthday. Today is out of character. I can’t say for certain it’s the right time. I promise you my ducks are far from being in a row. And it’s Sunday night, with many unfinished tasks and a new week beginning.
And yet, it feels like the perfect time to start this journey. A bit chaotic, a bit unsure and a bit exciting, and yet it feels a whole lot like my personal journey. My name is ChaCha. A name given to me by a very special person who I believe saw more in me than I ever saw in myself, until the last few years since she has passed away. In the last few years, I’ve found my mind wandering into new ideas; new adventures and I would say living my life more fully than in the past. By no means has it been a cake walk, but has been my share of tears and plenty of laughs. It has been filled with new beginnings and some endings. And my promise is it will always come from the heart. Sharing a bit of my journey in hopes it will inspire, support and/or just give you a smile.
But isn’t that what life is about? Life is meant to be lived. And along that life will be many unusual and off- personality adventure just as there will be some of the tried and true ones. In the end, it’s a journey. There is no perfect path, but if you can embrace your path, then it is perfect. So here’s to today. Today, the day this marks the beginning of a new journey! ~ChaCha
